Cafe Kopi Case Study
Role: Designer
Project Goal: Create a mobile app and responsive website for Cafe Kopi, a café in Hawaii.
Target Audience: People in the Kailua neighborhood of Honolulu.
Key challenges: Develop an ordering system that’s beautiful, easy to use, and unique like the café
Research study details: First, I identified pain points and what actions could be done to solve them.
Then I created personas and mapped their user journey.
I then created paper wireframes and a low-fidelity prototype, and conducted a usability study.
Using the usability study results, I created high fidelity mockups of the app, then conducted another usability study and refined my app based on the results.
Here are the final mockups of the app.
I then created a responsive website design.
In conclusion, I learned how to build paper and digital wireframes, how to conduct a usability study, how to create high-fidelity prototypes and how to iterate on designs.
